    1. Thanks for the honest review… I have been looking into tripods for my DSLR and you made some good points in your pros that I didn’t think about in the video side of things. Would you buy a tripod for both photography and one separate for cinema?

Do you think there is an effective tripod that might service both frameworks? I loved seeing a video review on this too. Good looking out!

      • The JOBY is a great choice for both photography and videography. Vloggers and YouTubers use it to record stable video. It’s also great for taking images for social media. You can for sure use it for both mediums as it comes with a ballhead for video panning.

        Thanks for reading and commenting!

    2. Great review on the Gorillapod Tripod.  I’m really happy I came across this post because I have a friend who is just getting into photography and a few other friends who have been in it for a while.  I know my newbie friend has been searching around for a little bit for a tripod.

I like that it is lightweight and appears to be easier to manuever than your typical large tripod which would work great for my friend who does a lot of nature pictures and usually stops to take pics while cruising around on his bike.

I’ll send him your link for sure!

      Cheers,

      Nicki

      • Hi Nicki,

Awesome! I think your friend would love the JOBY Gorillapod. It’s lightweight and easy to use, which is especially great for a beginner and if he likes to take pictures while he’s biking. The tripod is compact so is convenient to slip into a backpack. Plus, it’s affordable.

Thanks so much for reading and taking the time to comment.

    3. I have been looking to purchase a tripod so this review of the the JOBY Gorillapod Flexible Tripod is perfect timing. I like that you seem to be able to wrap it on to anything.  Are you able to extend the legs to make it higher? It would definitely come in handy when you are outside, because like you say, it can be thrown in your bag and you can just wrap it around a pole or something.

It does seem to have great benefits. Another thing I like about the JOBY Gorillapod is that it actually holds bigger cameras. Thank you for a great review, I will be reading up more on this one.

      • Hi Alexandra,

The JOBY Gorillapod is a great choice if you’re in the market for a tripod. You can wrap it around tree branches, fences, or any other stable object, allowing you to get shots that wouldn’t otherwise be possible. It’s a handy little tripod that’s compact, yet it does hold heavier cameras.

It’s a favorite among vloggers and YouTubers because it’s small enough to toss it a bag or purse. You can’t go wrong with the JOBY.

        Thanks for reading my review!

    4. WOW, while I no longer need a tripod for my 35mm SLR, I do so wish this had been around when I did need one. I used to snap a great deal, this is a totally awesome piece of kit, so very adaptable.

Cannot imagine some of the shots that I could have gotten if I could have been able to wrap a tripod around a fence or a tree, any photographer who likes to take a good photograph should have one of these in his camera bag. Many thanks for an excellent review.

      • I agree Stuart. It’s an amazing little tripod, and the flexible legs make it unique from others on the market. I wish it had been available when I first got started in photography. The tripod I initially used, while sturdy, was cumbersome to lug around.  The JOBY would have been more convenient and easier to maneuver.

Thanks for taking the time to comment.
